Punchy and Fun - And Next Come Tiles!

After I created my mandala collection, I started thinking about what to do next? Something with the same purpose - adding color (for joy) and symmetry (for balance), while at the same time ensuring originality in my creations, and focusing that creativity on spreading inspiration.

During my travels over the world, over the years, and like most people, I liked to bring home souvenirs - reminders of places I'd been to and adventures I'd had. These weren't your usual refrigerator magnets, beach shells or bumper stickers.  These were objects that I hoped would one day decorate my home, be used in my kitchen, or hung on my walls.

I started collecting tiles. I used them as coasters or gave them to my friends and family as gifts.  These were beautiful, locally made, culturally representative, objects that reminded me of Istanbul, Amsterdam, France, Spain or the Virgin Islands.  What better inspiration could there be for symmetry, color, and creativity?

And the Tile Collection was born out of a sense of adventure and curiosity about the world, and from my travels abroad.  It is a punchy, fun collection that is intended to shock and wow your senses!  We hope you enjoy browsing through our tile-inspired products.
